The INFOSweep In-Service Process

DCSI can provide you with policies, procedures and tools to help secure the data stored inside your digital copier while it is in service.  However, no process can completely secure the data so long as it resides on a hard drive.  We highly recommend that you periodically "clean" your drive to eliminate the possibility of access to sensitive data.  We will send a technician to your location at regularly scheduled intervals to destroy the data stored in your copier.

No process can match the thoroughness of INFOSweep!  We give you a 100% guarantee that the hard drive inside your copier will be completely free of data when we leave your location. That's because we don't use conventional "cleaning" methods which often leave recoverable data on the drive. DCSI uses the only fail-safe method for protecting your valuable information ... we remove and replace your hard drive.  On our initial visit, we will clear your existing drive and install a brand new, completely blank hard drive.  The technician will label both drives and designate them for your use only.  The removed hard drive is returned to our facility where is it permanently cleared of all data, reformatted and stored in a secure location to be used on our next visit to your location.  This "Dual-Drive" system provides the most secure kind of data protection available for an in-service copier. Our process assures that customer information, address logs, internal email addresses, fax numbers and network data is retained by the new drive until you are ready for the INFOSweep Final Process.

The INFOSweep Final Process

At no point is your data at greater risk than the day you allow a copier to leave your direct control. At lease maturity, at the end of its useful life, or anytime that you elect to upgrade or, for any reason, remove a copier from your premises, you must first assure that all sensitive data is permanently removed from the machine.
